Book review: “Leadership as an Identity” by Crawford W. Loritts, Jr.

Standard

I love reading biographies and leadership-related books,  I don’t know how many hundreds of them I have read.

“Leadership as an Identity” seemed a bit fresh to me.   It is written by  Crawford Loritts, Jr, Senior Pastor of  Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia.

What I think was refreshing to me was the deep insights he’s gained from his many years experience in ministry.   I also very much appreciated his humility in sharing things that have gone well for him, and mistakes that he has made along the way.

Some of the chapters of this enjoyable and challenging read are:  surrendering to God, falling into sin, seasons of brokenness, authentic humility, the dignity of serving, the legacy of faithfulness, and much more.

If you are taking your walk with the Lord seriously and looking for a resource to nudge you further along in your maturity and ministry effectiveness read this book.   The Bible mentions that he who walks with the wise will be wise.   Crawford Loritts Jr. is a wise man and we will benefit as we walk with him through the pages of this book.
