“A leader’s job is …” (Jack Welch)

Standard

Coming to an end of a year lends itself to pausing and evaluating how the year went— but in what areas ?

Using some guidance from one of the most respected CEO’s,  former, CEO, Jack Welch of GE, he says:

“A leader’s role is not to control  people or stay on top of things, but rather to guide, energize, and excite.”

So, with that in mind, leaders let me encourage you to :

* ask yourself: How well are you guiding your organization?

How well are you guiding your leaders?

In what one area(s), could you do better?

*ask yourself: How well are you energizing your organization?

How well are you energizing  your leaders?

In what one area(s), could you do better?

*ask yourself: How well are you exciting  your organization?

How well are you exciting your leaders?

In what one area(s), could you do better?

*how willing are you to ask your core leaders to honestly evaluate how well you are doing at guiding, energizing, and exciting them and your organization?
