“Executive maturity  depends on your ability  to be insightful, reflective, perceptive, and adaptable.  These mental behaviors are much easier  to perform when your faculties are firing  on all cylinders. It’s no secret that psychological  and physical health feed each other, so if you aren’t  getting your body and brain the nourishment and exercise they both need, start now.   Do yoga. Go for a run every morning. Lift weights at lunch.  Yes, your schedule is packed, but this is too important  not to incorporate into your routine. The more energy you  have and the more efficient  your overall physical  functioning, the sharper you are  mentally–and the better  able to manage your emotions and respond effectively to the emotions of others.”
