“… can be preventative for the side effects of wealth”

Standard

“Jesus taught his followers a rather interesting definition of GREED. He said that greed is the assumption that everything placed in our hands is for our consumption. Brilliant isn’t it?

You’ve probably known people who had lots of things in their hands, but that wasn’t what made them seem greedy. Nor was it when they kept some of those things for themselves. It was when they went a step further and thought everything they owned was intended for them.

To keep from being arrogant …to keep your hope from migrating… and to sidestep the assumption everything is for your consumption , you are to pursue a life of generosity. Its not just a good thing to do, its not some tip for how to be a good person. Its preventative for the side effects of wealth.”
