Here is a very good piece of advice from a man named Peter, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies”
This coming weekend when many people will be looking to enjoy life and gathering for parades and parties, let me encourage you to heed this advice.
In other words, watch what you say to others. Probably more than anything else what gets us in conflict with others is our mouth. We can so easily get caught up in gossiping about others, or spreading a rumor, or saying something not nice, or just not in a sensitive way.
Our words can hurt others and their words can hurt us.
So, be careful.
Look to follow that great advice, which you probably first heard from your parents: “if you have nothing nice to say about someone, don’t say anything at all.”
