A true indicator on how you are doing is…

Standard

I read something recently from Mark Batterson who mentions a great point. He says that a true indicator of our level of maturity in being a Christ follower is not on how we act—most people can act pretty well.

But, how we react demonstrates what is in our hearts. It is at these times that we see how willing we are to follow The Lord.

So, how is the health of your relationship with God? Don’t look at how you act on Sunday morning in church (when everyone seems to be doing fine), but you might want to look at how you’ve been acting when your boss asks you to do a “little” project, or one of your kids does something to disappoint you, or some driver cuts you off?

As a suggestion, you might want to read these chapters to see what the Bible says about going through times of struggle:
Romans 5
James 1
Hebrews 12
