“How I raised myself from failure to success in selling” by Frank Bettger

How I Raised Myself From Failure to Success in Selling –what a classic book!
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale said, “Anyone who wants to be successful should read it.”

Bettger had a short stint of playing baseball in the major leagues (at the time of Babe Ruth). However, due to an injury, he was forced to leave the Majors.
Stumbling around for a while in a few different jobs, he tried selling insurance. He was about to fail in this effort as well until he learned a very valuable lesson from the president of the company that dramatically changed his life. (I won’t spoil it by giving it away).

As he continued to sell, he learned many additional lessons about sales, business, and people. The lessons he shares in the book are nearly timeless.

Here are the section headings (I hope they capture your attention and motivate you to find out what he has to say?)

Part 1: These ideas lifted me out of the ranks of failure
Part 2: Formula for success in selling
Part 3: Six ways to win and hold the confidence of others
Part 4: How to make people want to do business with you
Part 5: Steps in(a)sale
Part 6: Don’t be afraid to fail

Go online and order a book—–you won’t regret it! Or find a used copy and save a little.
